COVID-19 Update: Financial Assistance Available

Posted on April 2, 2020 at 5:16 PM by Kris Kilburg

I know we are used to seeing pictures of the COVID-19 virus, but this picture is what I think about - the human side. I know many parents are at home, sheltering in place. Perhaps the one or both parents have temporarily lost their income during this period. In many cases, rent is still due, groceries still need to be purchased, the monthly bills are going to start piling up. And during all this, you're expected to stay away from grandparents, wash your hands a million times, practice social distancing and possibly throw in a little home schooling. For sure this current state of the world can make us all a little anxious.

At Service Plus Credit Union, we want to take away the financial worries, so here are a few important updates.

Financial Assistance
If you are facing a temporary loss of income due to COVID-19, please give us a call.  We have options that may be able to assist you through this time.

  • Hardship Loans
  • Skip-A-Payment
  • Credit Card Limit Increase

Your Funds Are Safe & Secure
Though things are very uncertain in many aspects of our lives, one thing is certain - the safety and security of your accounts at Service Plus Credit Union.  Your funds are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).

Besides our lobby not being open, it is business as usual.  We are still doing all of the same transactional and lending business we have always done.  You can still call us to answer questions or take care of business. I am thankful for our new website offering a way for us to communicate with our members. If you would like to subscribe to these updates, please be sure to click here.

We appreciate your business now and in the future.
