Citizens in Illinois have been asked to "Shelter in Place".  This has raised a few questions from our members on what it may mean to their accounts here.  Today I am going to cover two of the most common questions I have received.

Will Service Plus remain open?
Yes.  Service Plus is deemed a critical service and as such we will continue to be open for business through our drive-up.  However, please note that most transactions can be completed from the comfort of your home through Online and Mobile Banking.  This includes transferring funds, loan payments, checking account balances and more.  Cash may be accessed through our ATM, other Privilege Status ATMs and our drive-up.  You can still apply for loans at Service Plus online.

If you haven't had a chance to download our Mobile Banking app, you can do so at the Google Play Store or Apple Store.  You'll find it under SPCU Mobile Banking.
You can enroll in Online Banking by clicking here.

Are my accounts safe?
Yes.  Your funds at Service Plus are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).

As I stated in my previous blog, if you are a member and are going through a financial hardship, please be sure to reach out to me or one of our helpful staff members to discuss how we can help you.  Please continue to monitor our Facebook page or this blog for further updates.

We appreciate your business now and in the future.
