There are so many ways to save at Service Plus Credit Union.  We have a savings product to fit both short term and long term goals.  Each member's funds are insured to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) an independent agency of the United States Government.

 

Savings Accounts

Our most basic savings accounts can be used to save for vacations, holidays or whatever your savings goal may be.  They can also be used to build a savings habit with your child or grandchild.  There are no minimum balance requirements and we can even help you set up automatic deposits for easy saving.

 

Money Market Accounts

Earn a higher rate on your money with a Money Market Account. The minimum balance to earn the higher rate is $1,999.00 Balances exceeding $20,000.00 earn a premium rate. Accounts are limited to six withdrawals per month (three by check).

 

Certificates

A certificate of deposit is a way to lock in a higher dividend rate.  Certificates don’t lose their value and with a minimum balance of only $500 to open, they offer a stable investment for any portfolio.  Service Plus offers terms from six months up to forty-eight months.  

 

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

Service Plus offers Individual Retirement Account (IRA) Certificates.  An IRA is a savings plan authorized by the Federal Government to allow members to accumulate funds for their retirement.  Every individual who has earned income or received alimony may contribute to an IRA up to the year in which they reach 70 1/2 years of age.
