Is that really Service Plus Calling?

The phone rings and the caller says, "Hi my name is Frank. You recently financed a car/house with Service Plus Credit Union.  They asked me to call you and tell you about....

HANG UP!  No, Service Plus Credit Union will never have a 3rd party reach out to any of our members for extended warranties, additional insurance policies, or whatever the caller may be trying to sell.  

We are all inundated with these calls and our best advice is, if you don't recognize the number that is calling - don't answer.  If they leave a message saying they are from ANY financial institution (that includes Service Plus Credit Union) don't call back the number they gave you.  That too could be a scam.  Take a minute to look up the phone number and call the verified number.  

Remember, Service Plus Credit Union will not unexpectedly call you asking for your social security number, ask you verify your account number or password either.
